Loctite 278 is a green, strong, medium viscosity, methacrylate-based thread lock. Typical fixation times are 20 min on steel, 20 min on brass and 60 min on stainless steel. Suitable for applications where migration of glue from the joint must be prevented. Tolerates slight contamination with industrial oils High temperature resistance.
Medium viscosity. Breakaway torque on M10 thread 42 Nm. Prevents accidental movement, loosening, leakage and corrosion. Vibration resistant. High strength and high temperature resistance.
